#384 Grand Opening- Jabari Asim
In a collection of loosely tied stories, Taste of Honey has
done a remarkable job making each one independent enough that it could be read
as a single piece. This one is the only one for which that is not true. This is
more of an interlude with these characters we’ve lived with for most of this
book. Coming close to the end, perhaps it’s more of a curtain call, wrapping up
some loose ends.
I wouldn’t read this story unless you are reading through
the whole book, which is something I HIGHLY recommend.
